Extra chance to catch the show

After the show yesterday, we were scratching our heads trying to figure out what to do about all the people that wanted to see the show, but weren’t able to get tickets. We had sold every ticket for the entire run of the show before opening night!

When people called to try and buy tickets, all we could do is let them know about the media preview that ran last Thursday night. Traditionally the Thursday before a show opens at civic, people who want to preview the final rehearsal of the show can come in an pay whatever they can afford. Typically there might be 25 people in the audience. These nights are great, though, because the performers can find out how a live audience reacts and a few people get to see the show who because of scheduling or some other reason wouldn’t be able to catch any of the live performances.

Well, last Thursday we had a packed house. We literally had to turn people away at the door. The last number I heard was that we turned away about 40 people. Hopefully those 40 people check this website because we’re announcing one last chance to see the show.

This coming Thursday, August 19th, we will be running another pay-what-you-can preview night. I understand this to be first come first serve, but if you have any questions you can call the box office at 765-423-7529.
